Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Based on her observations of shadows on the ground and shadows on the ground, the artist spent months experimenting with a method that allows objects to be represented in two dimensions on canvas. Instead, the object is transformed into a representation of the subject and the canvas transforms into the medium for it's personal interpretation by painting, particularly in the case of alive or perishable, such as people or fruit. Alexa Meade's works are fleeting, but the photo remains. The painting and photography techniques are closely coordinated and result in a flat, two-dimensional area that is trompe l'oeil. Certain parts of the image, like the hair or eyes, show the third dimension. Meade often incorporates models painted in the space surrounding them. This allows them to be part of the world she has created. Through this, Meade is able to blur the lines between photography, painting and performing.
